Football Game Preview: Stockton Blackhawks vs. Pearl City-Eastland Wildcats

The Stockton Blackhawks will face off against the Pearl City-Eastland Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stockton will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Stockton hadn't beaten Galena on the road since September 20, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Blackhawks enjoyed a cozy 30-12 victory over the Pirates. The 30-point effort marked the Blackhawks' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pearl City-Eastland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Forreston 51-24 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Pearl City-Eastland's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Stockton, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Stockton suffered a grim 34-8 defeat to Pearl City-Eastland in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Blackhawks were down 20-0.
