Softball Recap: Denham Springs Comes Up Short

Denham Springs came into this matchup off a tough 12-run loss last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Walker Wildcats by a score of 5-3 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Yellowjackets have suffered since March 8th.

Denham Springs saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Herod, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Denham Springs has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Walker, their record is now 18-7.
