There's no place like home for Cabrillo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Righetti Warriors with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Conquistadores, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cabrillo walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-16.

Cabrillo was led to victory by Taylor Savella and Marie Terrones. Savella had four aces and three digs, while Terrones had 11 digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Cabrillo was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. They are 6-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cabrillo's victory bumped their record up to 13-14-1. As for Righetti, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cabrillo is set to square off against their familiar foe Orcutt Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Righetti will face off against rival Lompoc at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
