Volleyball Recap: AUBRY THOMAS Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Carlyle

Gibault Catholic hadn't done well against Carlyle recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Hawks won by a set and slipped past the Indians/Lady Indians 2-1. This was payback for the Hawks, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Gibault Catholic who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 19-25, 25-22.
