Martin came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bowie Volunteers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Volunteers, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Martin took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-10, 25-8.

Kalei Davis paced Martin's offense, picking up nine kills. Davis got some help from Emma Nguyen and her 21 assists. Kaitlyn Bush controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Martin's victory bumped their record up to 12-15. As for Bowie, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Martin is set to challenge their familiar foe Haltom at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bowie will square off against rival Arlington at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
