Volleyball Recap: Goodrich Comes Up Short

Goodrich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the New Caney Eagles.

Goodrich's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for New Caney, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Goodrich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Coldspring-Oakhurst on the 14th. As for New Caney, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Shepherd on the 15th.
