Josh Gooden gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
