Brentwood has gone 9-1 against Summit recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Brentwood Bruins will challenge the Summit Spartans at 7:30 p.m.

Brentwood is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Nolensville just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 44-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The match marked the Bruins' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Summit posted their biggest win since November 25, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Centennial 59-19. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Cougars are ranked 349th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brentwood's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 14-4. As for Summit, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-8.

Everything came up roses for Brentwood against Summit in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 58-30 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Brentwood since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
