Softball Recap: Montgomery Central Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Montgomery Central's offense. They came up short against the North Davidson Black Knights on Friday, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their meetings with the Black Knights: they've now lost eight in a row.

Montgomery Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annabelle Spivey, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Montgomery Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for North Davidson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Central will host Pinecrest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Davidson, they will be playing at home against Oak Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
