The Westminster Academy Lions scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They really took it to Somerset Academy Key for the full four quarters, racking up a 104-55 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Westminster Academy who now have three in a row.
Westminster Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jeremiah Police led the charge by shooting 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 51 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Police has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alex Constanza, who dropped a triple-double on 24 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists.
Westminster Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Somerset Academy Key, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-12.
Westminster Academy will square off against Berkeley Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Berkeley Prep's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
