Winston Academy had won seven straight games and Maggie Burns did her part to make it eight on Saturday. The Patriots walked away with a 2-0 win over the Starkville Academy Volunteers with plenty of help from Burns, who had 12 assists and two aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Winston Academy was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13.
