Football Recap: Monrovia Takes a Loss

If Monrovia was feeling good fresh off their 32-0 takedown of Rio Hondo Prep on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westridge Tigers on Wednesday.

Monrovia now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Westridge, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Monrovia will take on rival Glendora at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Wildcats 11.1, the Tartans 6.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Westridge is set to face off against their familiar foe Temple City at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
