Volleyball Recap: South Anchorage Takes Down Ranked Bettye Davis East Anchorage + How To Watch

South Anchorage faced Bettye Davis East Anchorage in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Thunderbirds. The Wolverines not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since November 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Anchorage was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-10, 25-11.

Indy Kmet paced South Anchorage's offense, picking up 17 kills. Kmet got some help from Ellie Kleven and her 35 assists. Kleven was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.
