Soccer Game Preview: Reavis vs. Oak Forest

The Reavis Rams will head out to face off against the Oak Forest Bengals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Forest took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Reavis, who comes in off a win.

Reavis' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Shepard by a score of 2-0. The win continues a trend for Reavis in their matchups with Shepard: they've now won three in a row.

Alessen Quinones and Erica Divizio scored both of Reavis' goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, Oak Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of Tinley Park. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Oak Forest couldn't quite close it out.

Reavis picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-6. As for Oak Forest, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-5.

Reavis took their win against Oak Forest in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
