Football Game Preview: Alva Goldbugs vs. Kellyville Ponies + How To Watch

The Alva Goldbugs will head out on the road to face off against the Kellyville Ponies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Alva is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Alva came up short against Luther on Thursday, falling 28-8.

Meanwhile, Kellyville played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 48-16 loss at the hands of Hennessey. The Ponies were down 34-10 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Alva's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Kellyville, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Alva against Kellyville when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 56-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Goldbugs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
