Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Memorial Comes Up Short

Wakefield Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Burlington Red Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-18.

Wakefield Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Burlington, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-13.

Wakefield Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Woburn Memorial on the 14th. As for Burlington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Arlington on the 14th.
