Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dixie). They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 69-37 win over the Middletown Christian Eagles. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-11.

The victory (which was Dixie's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Middletown Christian, their defeat was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Dixie will head out on the road to face off against Tri-Village at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri-Village knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past ten games -- so hopefully Dixie likes a good challenge. As for Middletown Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Emmanuel Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m.
