Basketball Recap: Anchor Bay Takes a Loss

After flying high against Armada on Thursday, Anchor Bay came back down to earth. The Tars came up short against the Roseville Panthers on Friday, falling 63-40. The Tars have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Roseville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Prince El out in front who shot 64% from the field to rack up 16 points. Terrell Owens was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Anchor Bay now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Roseville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Anchor Bay will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Utica Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Roseville, they will head out to square off against Romeo at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
