Volleyball Game Preview: Warren Central Warriors vs. Franklin Central Flashes

The Warren Central Warriors will face off against the Franklin Central Flashes at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Warren Central will be strutting in after a victory while Franklin Central will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Warren Central turned things around against Christel House on Monday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 3-1.

Warren Central walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-16, 18-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Franklin Central faced Fishers in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Flashes took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Flashes in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

While Franklin Central had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 24-26, 25-23, 25-23.

Franklin Central's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Warren Central, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
