Football Recap: Harlem's Undefeated Season over After Five Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Jefferson last Friday, Harlem came back down to earth. The Huskies fell just short of the Guilford Vikings by a score of 31-28 on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Huskies, who until this game were averaging ten points allowed.

Despite the loss, Harlem still got an impressive performance from La'Darrius Foster, who rushed for 84 yards and two scores on only ten carries. Dwayne Broom helped out on the ground, rushing for 95 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Harlem fell to 4-1. As for Guilford, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Harlem wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 59-14 win against Freeport on the 3rd. As for Guilford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-14 victory against Jefferson on the 2nd.
