Volleyball Recap: John Hardin Takes a Loss

John Hardin was the 2-1 winner over Russell County when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Lakers by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Despite the defeat, John Hardin saw an underclassman step up: freshman Khloe Yasin had ten digs and two aces. Yasin has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

John Hardin's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Russell County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 17-9.

John Hardin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Macon County on the 27th. As for Russell County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Apollo on the 27th.
