Softball Recap: Savanna Has No Trouble Against Western

Savanna barely beat Western the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Savanna put the hurt on Western with a sharp 11-0 victory on Monday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Kimberly Jimenez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brianna Cain, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-9. As for Western, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
