Baseball Recap: Greensburg Salem Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Greensburg Salem ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Highlands Golden Rams 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Golden Lions in their matchups with the Golden Rams: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Brody Chismar, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

As for Highlands, they will square off against Apollo Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Golden Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
