Peoria and Agua Fria are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Panthers will head out to take on the Owls at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Peoria has given up an average of 14.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Peoria fell victim to Paradise Honors and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 18-0 to Paradise Honors. Peoria has struggled against Paradise Honors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Agua Fria not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over Westview.

Agua Fria got a massive performance out of Aldo Ohlmaier, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Ohlmaier also hit a triple, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aidan Gomez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Agua Fria kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 3.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.6.

Agua Fria's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-10. As for Peoria, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.

Peoria came up short against Agua Fria when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 8-4. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
