Volleyball Recap: Enfield Takes a Loss

Enfield lost against Maloney back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-20, 25-16.

Drew Wyse paced Enfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Wyse got some help from Jacob Bellafronte and his 15 assists. Finally, Josiah Upson kept Enfield's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Enfield now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Maloney, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Enfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Conard on the 19th. As for Maloney, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Wolcott RVT on the 19th.
