Basketball Game Preview: Northridge Grizzlies vs. Roosevelt Roughriders

Northridge is 1-7 against Roosevelt since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Northridge Grizzlies will host the Roosevelt Roughriders at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northridge took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They managed a 41-35 win over Thompson Valley.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt entered their tilt with Wellington on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Eagles 84-21. Given the Roughriders' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 20th, while the Eagles are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Northridge's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
