Volleyball Recap: Coconino Panthers vs. Cicero Prep Academy Centurions
Coconino had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Cicero Prep Academy Centurions 2-1.
Coconino had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 27-25, 15-7.
Despite the defeat, Cicero Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: Layla Hrabe had 16 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Mirabella Medina, who had 21 digs.
