Southeast Career Tech came tearing into Thursday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Spring Valley Grizzlies. Give the Roadrunners' pitching crew some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Laila Esparza made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Neveah Fuller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Bella Lemus was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
