North Penn-Mansfield not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30, 2024 (when they won 35-0). Their defense stepped up to hand the Sayre Redskins a 25-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bradley Brooks threw for 44 yards on four of nine attempts. Patrick Youmans was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards. On the ground, Jeremiah Lawrence rushed for 121 yards and one score.

North Penn-Mansfield's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Sayre, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, North Penn-Mansfield will look to defend their home field on Friday against Towanda at 7:00 p.m. As for Sayre, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Redskins their first taste of in-conference action this season.
