Volleyball Recap: Lone Peak Finds Playoff Glory Versus Davis

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lone Peak had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Davis Darts with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lone Peak's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Luhanna Panta led the charge by getting five digs and four aces. That's the most aces Panta has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Tien, who had 15 assists and five digs.

Lone Peak has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season. As for Davis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.

Lone Peak wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Syracuse on the 29th. As for Davis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Riverton on the 29th.
