James Monroe won the last time they faced Buffalo and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mavericks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bison.

While James Monroe might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Buffalo scored at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-19.

James Monroe found their leader in sophomore Peighton Griffith, who had four digs and two aces.
