Preview: Trinity Christian Warriors vs. East Hardy Cougars
Trinity Christian is 3-0 against East Hardy since February of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Trinity Christian Warriors on the road again and play against the East Hardy Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Trinity Christian gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past Notre Dame, posting a 67-34 win on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Trinity Christian has posted yet this season.
Even though East Hardy has not done well against Union recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. East Hardy snuck past Union with a 58-52 victory.
Brooklynn Tinnell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 28 points along with seven steals and six assists. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of East Hardy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Miller, who scored ten points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Trinity Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for East Hardy, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9.
Everything came up roses for Trinity Christian against East Hardy in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 58-28 win. With Trinity Christian ahead 30-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
