Baseball Recap: Humble Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Humble's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Atascocita Eagles on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-0 last Tuesday.

Humble has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14-1 record this season. Atascocita pushed their record up to 16-5-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Humble Wildcats challenge King Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atascocita, they will face off against Cypress Ranch at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cypress Ranch will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Atascocita surely won't give up without a fight.
