Softball Recap: Lakin Comes Up Short

Lakin lost against Goodland back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Broncs came up short against the Cowboys, falling 11-1. The Broncs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakin saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sarah Peters, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lakin's record is now 4-9. As for Goodland, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-8.

While Lakin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
