Soccer Recap: Barberton Comes Up Short

Barberton lost against Perry back in August of 2016 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Magics fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Barberton have lost by just one goal.

Francisco Sanchez and Blake Leary scored both of Barberton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Barberton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5-4. As for Perry, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2.

Coming up, Barberton will take on Aurora at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perry, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Louisville on the 4th.
