Spring Valley won the last time they faced Capital and things went their way on Saturday too. The Timberwolves came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0.

Kentley Wellman paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up eight kills. Wellman got some help from Avery Ellis and her ten assists. Ellis also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Aubrey Rutherford, each putting up three.

Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 28-11-6. As for Capital, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-25-4 record this season.
