Volleyball Game Preview: Lynbrook Vikings vs. Aragon Dons

The Lynbrook Vikings will challenge the Aragon Dons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lynbrook will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each contest than the last.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Lynbrook turned things around against Cupertino on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Pioneers. The match marked the Vikings' most dominant win of the season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Lynbrook was: they took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Aragon came up short against Menlo-Atherton on Wednesday and fell 3-1.

Aragon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Menlo-Atherton work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 28-26, 20-25, 25-20.

Aragon's defeat dropped their record down to 15-17. As for Lynbrook, their victory bumped their record up to 14-17.
