Volleyball Recap: Garretson Takes a Loss

Garretson managed to slip by Madison the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Blue Dragons lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Blue Dragons just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-10.

Vivian Johnson paced Garretson's offense, picking up five kills. Johnson got some help from Bryn Stiefvater and her six assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Garretson's loss dropped their record down to 3-22. As for Madison, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 18-12 record.

Garretson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Baltic on the 4th. As for Madison, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Tri-Valley on the 4th.
