 In what's become a running theme this season, Brackenridge gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. Everything went their way against the Lanier Voks as the Brackenridge Eagles made off with  a  17-2 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Brackenridge also won the last time the pair played  back in March.
  Ethan Polendo and  Rudy Nino were a major factor no matter where they played. Throwing,  Polendo   struck out nine batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run but no hits. Meanwhile,  Nino   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. At bat,  Polendo  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3, while  Nino  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Ernesto Nunez was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Eleas Tijerina, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI.
 Brackenridge's victory bumped their record up to 13-10-1. As for Lanier, they dropped their record down to 1-19 with that  loss, which was their third straight  at home.
 Brackenridge will take on Burbank at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Burbank is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.4  runs per game  this season. As for Lanier, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Sam Houston at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lanier is facing Sam Houston at the right time seeing as Sam Houston is stuck on  a  24-game losing streak.
