Basketball Recap: Inlet Grove Triumphs

After losing to Santaluces the last time they met, Inlet Grove decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hurricanes walked away with a 39-28 win over the Chiefs on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hurricanes.

Jaice Harper went supernova, shooting 53% from the field to rack up 28 points and four steals. Those 28 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Sorayah Tatoute, who posted four points.

Inlet Grove's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Santaluces, they moved to 14-9 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Inlet Grove has already played their next contest, a 57-28 win against Cardinal Newman on the 2nd. As for Santaluces, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 37-26 victory against Spanish River on the 2nd.
