Volleyball Game Preview: Hillcrest Huskies vs. Granger Lancers

The Hillcrest Huskies will venture away from home to square off against the Granger Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hillcrest will be strutting in after a victory while Granger will be coming in after a loss.

Hillcrest took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Hunter.

The 3-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Granger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to West.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-14.

The win got Hillcrest back to even at 11-11. As for Granger, their loss dropped their record down to 3-15.

Everything went Hillcrest's way against Granger in their previous meeting back in September, as Hillcrest made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Huskies since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
