Volleyball Recap: Carlsbad Takes a Loss

Carlsbad came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Hobbs Eagles, falling 3-0. The Cavemen/Cavegirls were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Carlsbad was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Hobbs work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 25-21.

Carlsbad's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Hobbs, their record now sits at 9-14.

As of now, neither Carlsbad nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
