Baseball Game Preview: West Fork Tigers vs. Greenland Pirates

West Fork is 2-8 against Greenland since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. West Fork will face off against Greenland at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (West Fork has three straight victories, Greenland has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

West Fork is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Ozark Catholic Academy with a sharp 18-2 win last Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Greenland didn't have quite enough to beat Faith Christian Academy on Monday and fell 2-1.

West Fork now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Greenland, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

West Fork might still be hurting after the 25-0 loss they got from Greenland in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can West Fork avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
