Basketball Game Preview: Boise City Wildcats vs. Logan Longhorns

The Boise City Wildcats will face off against the Logan Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Boise City will be strutting in after a victory while Logan will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Boise City took their game with ease, bagging a 64-28 win over Goodwell. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Meanwhile, Logan lost to Roy/Mosquero on the road by a 58-39 margin on Saturday. The loss was the Longhorns' first of the season.

Boise City will have to contain Desta Rose as she made an impact in Logan's last game. She posted 12 points, to go along with five assists and three steals. Rose is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Paris, who had seven points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Logan fell to 2-1. As for Boise City, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.

Boise City strolled past Logan in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 59-42. Will Boise City repeat their success, or does Logan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
