Columbine won the last time they faced Chatfield and things went their way on Saturday too. The Columbine Rebels were the clear victor by a 73-53 margin over the Chatfield Chargers. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Columbine's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mason Abraham led the charge by going 8-for-14 to rack up 23 points and five boards. What's more, Abraham also posted a 57% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January of 2024. Kortny Brock was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Chatfield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Josie Lynch, who posted 11 points in addition to six blocks and five assists. Lynch is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Reed, who earned 16 points.

Columbine is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Chatfield is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Columbine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-58 win against Monarch on the 1st. As for Chatfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 58-52 loss against Horizon on the 26th.
