Powhatan was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Richmond High School for the Arts on Thursday. The Indians' pitchers stepped up to hand the Bulldogs a 13-0 shutout. That looming 13-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

Powhatan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Richmond High School for the Arts, their defeat was their 20th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
