Bamberg-Ehrhardt came tearing into Wednesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.5 points) and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 53-42 win over the Colleton County Cougars. Given the Red Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Cougars are ranked 132nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.4 points per game. As for Colleton County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
