Basketball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park suffered their biggest loss since December 26, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by the Glenbard West Hilltoppers 61-28. The matchup marked the Giants' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Highland Park has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Glenbard West, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Highland Park will be taking part in a tournament against York at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Glenbard West and St. Laurence will round out the year against one another at at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Glenbard West knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully St. Laurence likes a good challenge.
