Softball Recap: Pleasant Valley Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

Pleasant Valley waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Dubuque Senior Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2018.

Pleasant Valley's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Dubuque Senior, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Coincidentally, Pleasant Valley and Dubuque Senior will both be playing A-D-M the next time they take the field. The Spartans will host the Tigers on Friday, while the Rams will host them on Saturday.
