Basketball Recap: Pleasant Grove Comes Up Short

Pleasant Grove lost against Bingham back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pleasant Grove Vikings lost to the Bingham Miners at home by a 46-32 margin. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bingham's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addy Horsley led the charge by putting up 13 points. Another player making a difference was Evalyn Roberts, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Pleasant Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Bingham, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant Grove will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Alta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pleasant Grove is facing Alta at the right time seeing as Alta is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Bingham, they will challenge Layton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bingham will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: Layton will have lost four straight heading into Thursday's contest.
